ND man sentenced to more than 2 years in prison on sex offender chargeGRAND FORKS — A North Dakota man has been sentenced to 2½ years in prison for failure to register as a sex offender.
Authorities say 24-year-old Laidman Fox III, of Bismarck, was convicted in 2009 of sexual abuse of a minor. He was sentenced to serve nearly three years in prison.
Court documents show that Fox violated terms of his release when he walked away from a halfway house in Devils Lake more than a year ago, tested positive for marijuana and failed to register his new address as a sex offender.
