Weather Talk: November is when winter makes its presence feltApart from the occasional rogue October snowstorm, November is usually the month in which winter weather makes its presence felt here in North Dakota and northern Minnesota.
Average conditions do not tell us much about what to expect in any given year, but the average November snowfall total of 8.2 inches certainly suggests an appreciable amount of snow is likely.
Likewise, the average high and low temperatures of 27 and 12 degrees, respectively, at the end of the month, suggest an appreciable amount of cold weather also.
