Professional development - 11/02/13Housing staff members earn certifications
Fargo Housing and Redevelopment Authority staff members Kasye Sherva and Kathleen Stieg have been awarded the Fair Housing and Reasonable Accommodation Certification through Nan McKay. Steve Eickhoff has been awarded the Certified Manager of Maintenance Operations through the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials.
Sherva earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Minnesota State University Moorhead and is a licensed social worker. Sherva is an assistant manager/service coordinator and Stieg is a project manager, both for New Horizons and Pioneer Manor. Eickhoff is the capital improvements coordinator.
Skolness accredited as a land consultant
Eric Skolness, farm manager with Farmers National Co., Glyndon, Minn., has been awarded the accredited land consultant designation of the Realtors Land Institute.
The designation means Skolness has attained the highest level of knowledge and experience in his profession. He represents absentee landowners in maintaining and improving their assets and assists clients in identifying and reaching goals through real estate purchases and sales.
Jordan Frank receives certification from DBIA
Jordan Frank, an assistant project manager at Nor-Son, has received accreditation through the Design Build Institute of America.
Frank completed coursework and a formal exam in all aspects of design-build project delivery.
Nor-son is a consulting, design and construction services firm with offices in Minnesota, South Dakota and in Fargo.
CRS designation awarded to Ron Boe
Ron Boe, a sales associate with Re/Max Legacy Realty, Fargo, has been awarded the certified residential specialist designation by the Council of Residential Specialists after completing advanced courses that demonstrated his expertise in the field of residential real estate.
