Two hospitalized in crash near HarveySELZ, N.D. – Two people were hospitalized Saturday night after their vehicle was struck by a pickup truck that ran a stop sign in rural Pierce County.
Kimberley Bauer, 48, was driving south on Highway 3 at about 7 p.m. Saturday when an eastbound Chevrolet pickup driven by 21-year-old Steven Henne ran a stop sign and hit her truck, according to a release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The accident occurred near Selz – about 10 miles north of Harvey.
Bauer’s pickup truck flipped onto its hood and landed in a ditch. She and her passenger, Michael Bauer, were taken by ambulance to St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey with non-life threatening injuries.
Both trucks were totaled in the accident, according to the release. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
