Big second quarter vaults Blue Jays to win

JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Jamestown bounced back from a six-point deficit with 22 second-quarter points en route to a 25-6 victory against Fargo North in Eastern Dakota Conference football Friday.

Scott Nelson rushed for 93 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Blue Jays, while Ben Hanson caught a touchdown and kicked two field goals.

Avery Thompson’s 55-yard touchdown pass to Ty Sanford provided the Spartans with their only points.
