Jeb Bush appearance in Fargo on Thursday sold out

FARGO – Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush will speak to a sold-out crowd at the annual Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber Voices of Vision series Thursday.

Nearly 800 have signed up to attend Bush’s speech from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Ramada Plaza and Suits in Fargo, the Chamber stated in a release.

The Chamber’s Voices of Vision series is designed to bring world-thought leaders and cutting-edge business visionaries to the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo community.

Before serving as governor, Bush was Florida’s secretary of commerce. He now heads a consulting company for businesses and serves as chairman for the Foundation for Excellence in Education.

Bush is also chairman of the National Constitution Center and co-author of the book “Immigration Wars: Forging an American Solution.”

Chamber President and CEO Craig Whitney said the eight hurricanes Bush saw hit Florida while governor give him an understanding of the metro area’s trials with flooding.
