Crash injures Hillsboro manGRAND FORKS, N.D. – A 33-year-old from Hillsboro, N.D., was injured Thursday evening when the car he was driving collided with a semi-truck on Interstate 29 south of Manvel, according to a report from the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
According to the report:
Nicholas Boeddeker was driving south on Interstate 29 at a high rate of speed when he struck the rear bumper and tires of a Mack truck driven by Carlos Martinez, 55, Grand Forks.
Martinez, who was traveling at 65 mph when the crash occurred, pulled to the shoulder and stopped.
Boeddeker’s vehicle veered across the median and came to a rest in the passing land of northbound interstate traffic.
Boeddeker, whose vehicle was totaled, was taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks with non-life threatening injuries.
