Dalrymple named to lead natural resources groupBISMARCK – North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple was named chairman of the National Governors Association Natural Resources Committee by NGA Chairwoman Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin and NGA Vice Chairman Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper.
The committee has jurisdiction over issues related to agriculture, energy, the environment and natural resources. Members of the committee ensure that the governors’ views are represented in the shaping of federal policy.
Connecticut Gov. Dan Malloy will serve as vice chairman of the committee.
