Convenience store robber remains at largePARK RAPIDS, Minn. - An armed robber remained on the loose five days after a Park Rapids convenience store was robbed at gunpoint of about $200.
Park Rapids Police Chief Terry Eilers said investigators were looking into the possibility that the robber or possible cohorts purchased lottery tickets from another convenience store shortly after the heist Thursday.
They were reviewing store security footage in the second gas station to see if they could identify the ticket buyers.
According to police, the robber brandished a pump-action sawed-off shotgun at the Holiday Station Store and left with the cash drawer. Only $201 was in the drawer.
