Letter: A name for right’s health care planI read an article in Oct. 17 Forum, and noted that Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., stated that he believes that “Obamacare” should be scrapped. Rep. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., speaking in circles, pretty much has the same opinion.
I guess that Hoeven forgets that the Affordable Care Act was voted on and passed by the U.S. House and Senate, and signed into law by President Barack Obama. He is too busy trying to keep his point count buildup going with the Republican radical right.
If the Republicans want to continue this assault on health care for those that cannot get it, and keep on calling it “Obamacare,” the only fair thing would be to have their offered alternative be called “teapublicancare.” They want to line up with the radicals, call it what it will be!
