Letter: Hope they don’t come up short

I read an article that the Kilbourne Group in Fargo wants to build the tallest building in North Dakota. The article also said that the state Capitol in Bismarck at 242 feet tall is North Dakota’s tallest building.

I have been reading the North Dakota Blue Book. On page 158, it says the state Capitol is the sixth-tallest building in North Dakota at 242 feet.

The Garrison Dam water intake structure for power generators located on Lake Sakakawea near Riverdale is 249 feet is the fifth-tallest building.

The Coal Creek Station power plant near Underwood has two building that measure 290 feet tall, making them the third- and fourth-tallest building.

The Antelope Valley power plant near Beulah has two buildings that stand 361 feet tall. They are ranked first- and second-tallest buildings in the state of North Dakota.

The Kilbourne Group says its building will be 352 feet tall. I would hate for them to spend $125 million on a building to find out they are nine feet short.
