Style profile: Boots, blazers help update classic style for autumn weather
The 27-year-old who works on the sales team at Jordahl Custom Homes is more of a spring-weather person but still embraces autumn by wearing blazers and boots.
I spotted Voss at Caribou Coffee and admired her fresh preppy look.
Describe your style. Very clean; classic.
What are you wearing today? Jacket from Gap, 7 For All Mankind jeans, Michael Kors belt, BCBG boots and a Kate Spade handbag.
Where do you shop? I do a lot of online shopping but I also like Gap, Banana Republic and J. Crew.
What’re your secrets to great style? People often ask how I can afford to buy this or that, but I never pay full price. I get in on big sales and mix and match my wardrobe a lot.
Where do you splurge? Fine jewelry. I have many pieces that I’d never give up. I’ve been adding to my Tiffany & Co. charm bracelet for years.
I also don’t skimp on handbags and shoes. They can last forever and look timeless.
You said your job sometimes requires long hours. How do you look great all day long? Hair spray and comfortable clothes. My concentration totally changes if I’m not comfortable in my clothes.
What are your favorite elements of fall fashion? I like the colors – deep purple, burgundy and navy.
