High-risk sex offender living in Dwight; public meeting set Tuesday

DWIGHT, N.D. – There will be a public meeting Tuesday to allow the public to ask questions about a high-risk sex offender who moved here from Abercrombie.

Mathew Jasmann is now living at 6012 Miler St. in Dwight and working at ABU Trailer, according to a release form the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.

Jasmann, 33, is considered a high-risk offender and is required to register as an offender after he being convicted in two cases in Stutsman County District Court.

Jassmann was convicted of gross sexual imposition involving a 10-year-old girl when he was 12 years old.

In 2001, he was convicted of gross sexual imposition involving a number of girls ages 13 to 17, the release stated.

A public meeting is at 7 p.m. at the Dwight Fire Hall.
