Director of Rape and Abuse Crisis Center takes job with Emergency Food PantryFARGO – The longtime director of the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center here has taken a job with the Emergency Food Pantry.
Greg Diehl will begin the new position of administrator for the food pantry on Nov. 1, according to a release from the food pantry.
“My 25 years with the center have been an important part of my journey, and the last eight years as the executive director have made me proud of our team, volunteers and supportive community,” Diehl said in a release. “I wholeheartedly believe in the mission and will continue to support the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center as a community volunteer.”
Diehl’s last day at the center will be Oct. 31. A release from the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center stated the board hopes to name an executive director by the end of the year.
Current food pantry Coordinator Linda Clark will remain on staff as the client services manager, the release stated.
The change in duties will help the Emergency Food Pantry work more effectively to serve an increasing number of people in Cass and Clay counties, the release stated.
The food pantry will introduce Diehl and celebrate its one-year anniversary at its new Fargo location, 1101 4th Ave. N., with an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. on Oct. 29.
