Q and A with Bison defensive tackle Danny Luecke

Q: If there was a movie made about your life, what actor would you choose to play you?

A: I would definitely choose Russell Crowe. I just think he is just the man of mans. I love him in “Gladiator.” That is where I first fell in love with him. Then he’s in “Les Miserables” and he can just belt it out. Russell Crowe is the man.

What’s your favorite sports movie?

“Miracle.” The hockey movie from the 1980s USA Hockey team. I grew up my whole life playing hockey. Just a great sport and just a great inspirational movie.

What is your favorite television show?

I don’t watch too much TV, but maybe “The Office.” I don’t watch enough TV to have a favorite TV show.

What is your favorite social media platform?

I for sure don’t care.

What was your favorite cartoon character as a kid?

To be totally honest, Winnie the Pooh, when I was really young … really young, I will emphasize that. I really liked Winnie the Pooh.

What two musical acts would you pick for your dream concert?

Lecrae. He’s a Christian rapper. Amazing music. And then, Garth Brooks.

What is the best Christmas or birthday gift you have ever received?

When I was in about middle school … our parents built a hockey rink for us in our backyard as kind of part of our Christmas present every year. … It was about three years in a row we did that, and that was the best Christmas present.

If you weren’t playing football, what other sport would you play?

Hockey. I would definitely be playing hockey.
