Ex-Bison golfer Anderson shoots 6 under in LPGA Q-SchoolFARGO – Former North Dakota State golfer Amy Anderson shot a 6-under 66 and is tied for first place in the second stage tournament field in the LPGA Qualifying School after two rounds.
Anderson is at 8-under par and tied with Jenny Suh from Fairfax, Va., at the Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Fla. Both are in prime position to advance to the next stage in an effort to earn a LPGA Tour card.
The top 80 players plus ties advance to the Stage III Qualifying tournament in December. Anderson tees off at 12:05 p.m. CDT on Thursday.
