NDSU, Concordia parades take to streets Friday, Saturday
You don’t have to be a North Dakota State University or Concordia College graduate to enjoy each school’s homecoming events this week, including parades Friday and Saturday.
Concordia fires up the festivities at 8:30 tonight with its traditional bonfire at Jake Christiansen Stadium on the Moorhead campus. Stick around for a fireworks show that will light up the sky.
Cobbers take to the street, Eighth Street in particular, on Saturday morning. The parade marches up the street starting at 11 a.m.
NDSU takes over downtown Fargo on Friday night. The parade starts at 5:30 p.m. at Broadway and NP Avenue and heads north to Fourth Avenue, east to Fourth Street and south to First Avenue North. Things wrap up with a pep rally on the Fargo Civic Center lawn, 207 4th St. N.
