Letter: They just leave carts everywhere

I just don’t get it. I just don’t understand.

There might be more important things in life than this, but as I was driving in the parking lot of Sun Mart on 25th Street and 32nd Avenue South in Fargo at around 6:45 p.m. Monday, a lady was putting her groceries away in a van. She was not the driver. All the groceries were put in the van and she left the cart just as is – four cars away from the place where a person is to return the carts. Yikes! I honked my horn, but she probably never heard me or even cared.

I personally do not care where it is that I shop at ... like Sun Mart, Hornbachers, or Kmart, Home Depot, Menards, or Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club or now Costco. You get what I mean.

I just do not understand why people cannot walk a few steps or, in this case, four cars away from where the person was to put the cart back to where the stalls are.

Good thing it was not a windy night or that cart would have blown all over the parking lot, and next thing you know it would have scratched up a vehicle. I’ve even seen carts near apartment complexes.
