Weekend watch: Five Finger Death Punch

Who said metal-heads have nothing new to say? Five Finger Death Punch’s fourth album, “The Wrong Side of Heaven and the righteous Side of Hell: Vol. 1,” came out in late July and in November, the follow-up drops. “Volume 1” topped the charts with its debut single, “Lift Me Up,” featuring Judas Priest’s Rob Halford.

Other bands appear throughout, including Tech N9ne on a cover of L.L. Cool J’s, “Mama Said Knock You Out.” FFDP brings tunes from both volumes to The Venue at The Hub, 2525 9th Ave. S., Fargo, on Friday.

Doors open at 6:30 for this all-ages show, with openers Escape the Fate, Miss May I and Gemini Syndrome starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $32.50. (866) 300-8300.
