Professional development - 09/28/13Two from Envirotech complete training
Dennis Evans and Gary Nysveen of Envirotech Heating & Air, Hillsboro, N.D., have completed 20 hours of training at the Rehau Academy, Minneapolis.
Rehau is a global manufacturer of energy-efficient heating systems and offers ground source energy solutions for heating and cooling a building and underfloor heating systems for homes, agriculture and commercial buildings.
Teachers earn energy education certificates
Jeff Schneider, Moorhead High School industrial technology teacher, Andrew Henjum, Fargo South High School, and Matthew Dahmen, a science teacher for YES, Moorhead, have completed the 12-credit energy efficiency and renewable energy education program offered by the Center for Renewable Energy Education and Demonstration project through Hamline University, St. Paul.
The course helps teachers strengthen their science, mathematics and industrial technology curricula by integrating energy education into their lessons.
Staller completes banking school courses
Dan Staller, Fargo market president at Starion Financial, has been awarded a diploma from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
The program takes place during two-week resident sessions for three consecutive summers, along with study between resident sessions, and focuses on management of strategic issues faced by banking executives and financial services industry professionals.
Staller earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Minnesota State University Moorhead and has more than 17 years of banking experience.
NetWork Center techs earn certifications
Ric Todd has achieved the Microsoft Installing and Configuring Windows Server certification and Dana Eckart has earned the Cisco Sales Expert certification.
Both are employed at NetWork Center Inc., Fargo.
