Police nab youths suspected in north Fargo burglariesFARGO – Fargo police have cracked what they believe to be a long-running burglary ring after officers interrupted three youths who were trying to break into a garage early Thursday.
According to Lt. Joel Vettel:
Officers were called to the Madison Elementary area of north Fargo about 1 a.m. on a report of a burglary.
Upon arriving, they spotted three suspects fleeing the area.
Two were caught almost immediately and officers later determined the identity of the third suspect.
The three included two males and one female, with ages ranging from 13 to 15.
Vettel said police have determined the three are responsible for several thefts in the area and suspect they may be to blame for many more burglaries committed in the neighborhood over the past several months.
