Nail stickers add pizzazz to hands

FARGO – The first time I tried “Nail Dress” by Kiss, I proclaimed that I was wearing a party on my fingernails. And what could be better than a party?

I feel stylish and put together when my fingernails are perfectly manicured, but finding time for a manicure is a challenge.

I was happy to stumble upon Kiss’ drugstore nail stickers that come in fun, get-the-party-started designs (think leopard, glitter, jeweled and peacock). The nail stickers are easy to apply, last about a week and cost less than a manicure (about $6 at Walmart or Target).

I was hesitant to try the nail stickers at first because I had a bad experience with much more expensive nail art. The Kiss brand delivered, though.

For the most part, I had no problem applying the stickers to my nails. I couldn’t get a few perfectly smooth, and filing off the excess strip sometimes resulted in me ruining the whole sticker. But, with 28 strips per box, I had room to experiment with application and figure out which sizes work for each fingernail.

The best part about Nail Dress is how quickly the peppy stickers take my short nails from blah to bling. I’ve tried a handful of designs now, and every time, I get compliments from strangers.

The bright little stickers add an unexpected element of fun to my otherwise classic style.

The bottom line: Try Kiss’ Nail Dress for a cheap pick-me-up.
