Randorf named Forum Communications advertising director

FARGO – Roz Randorf has been named advertising director for Forum Communications Co.

Randorf had been advertising director at the Duluth News Tribune, a newspaper owned by Forum Communications.

Bill Marcil Jr., publisher of The Forum newspaper and executive vice president and chief operating officer of Forum Communications, said Randorf is a perfect fit for the job.

“This position will work directly with the publishers, ad directors and general managers of Forum Communications Co. to unify our advertising strategy to better serve our customers,” Marcil said.

Randorf started her career with Forum Communications Co. in 1990, when she joined The Forum selling classified ads.

She subsequently held a number of positions with Forum Communications before accepting a position with the Duluth News Tribune in 2006.

“My family always loved Duluth,” Randorf said. “We thought it would be a great opportunity, so we did it.”

She said she’s thrilled to be heading back to Fargo – and its less hilly terrain.

“I’ll be able to bike a lot farther,” she joked, adding that she’s also happy to be doing a job she enjoys.

“I feel so fortunate that I’m part of such a talented team of professionals,” she said.
