Weekend watch: Fargo Beer FestivalFriday
With Oktoberfest, fall is considered prime beer season, but really, is there a bad time for a brew? If there is, it’s not Friday evening. The Fargo Beer Festival returns to the Fargo Civic Center, 207 4th St. N., for another round. Around 100 craft beers will be tapped, giving suds connoisseurs tastes of a range of ales.
In addition to familiar varieties from the Fargo Beer Company, Summit, Schell’s and Bell’s, tipplers can try more adventurous sips like Billy’s Chiles by Timberline, Wasatch’s Apricot Hefeweizen, Lift Bridge’s Hop Dish IPA or any variety of fall pours including Woodchuck’s Pumpkin Cider. Tickets are $24 in advance or $30 on Friday. The beers start pouring at 5:45 p.m. www.fargobeerfestival.com.
