Pianist Christopher O’Riley to hold MSUM masterclass

MOORHEAD – Christopher O’Riley, concert pianist and host of NPR’s “From the Top,” will lead a masterclass Thursday at the Gaede Stage in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts, Minnesota State University Moorhead.

The event will feature O’Riley exchanging ideas and offering insights with young pianists Brayden Drevlow, Thief River Falls, Minn.; Elisabeth Sondrol, Fargo; and Youngwon Seo, an MSUM exchange student from South Korea.

Music starts at 1 p.m. The performance is free and open to the public. At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, O’Riley will perform with cellist Matt Haimovitz on the Gaede Stage.
