Tuesday Tip: Clip earrings together to avoid losing part of pair

FARGO – I keep my earrings in the drawers of my jewelry box, and it can be a pain when I can only find half of the pair.

But several years ago I discovered that if I clip the earrings together I can easily avoid the hassle of having to go hunting through my jewelry drawers when one earring goes missing.

For hoop earrings, just thread one earring through the loop of the other and close it to keep them neatly intertwined.

For post earrings, put the back on one of the earrings. Then stick the post of the other earring through one loop in the back of the first earring. Attach the back on the second earring to connect the pair.
