Honors and promotions (Sept. 14)Vogel attorneys named to Best Lawyers 2014
Several Vogel Law Firm attorneys have been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2014 in their respective practice areas. The attorneys are:
Daniel Vogel, product liability litigation – defendants and professional malpractice law – defendants; H. Patrick Weir Jr., personal injury litigation – plaintiffs; Brenda Blazer, medical malpractice law – defendants; Joel Gilbertson, administrative/regulatory law, government relations and insurance law; and Leslie Bakken Oliver, health care law.
Ingulsrud re-elected to state chamber board
Brian Ingulsrud, vice president of administration at American Crystal Sugar Co., Moorhead, was re-elected to the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
Other chamber officers are: Jeff DeYoung, Baker Tilly, Minneapolis, chairman; Dave Baker, Baker Hospitalities, Willmar, chairman-elect; Todd Paulson, RTP Co., Winona, secretary-treasurer; and Joe Maher, Blandin Paper, Grand Rapids, immediate past chairman.
Swanson earns FMAAR Affiliate of Year award
Robin Swanson of Superior Insurance was named a 2013 Affiliate of the Year award-winner by the Fargo-Moorhead Area Association of Realtors.
The award honors affiliate members of FMAAR who have exceptional involvement and dedication to FMAAR and the real estate profession.
Lentz serving as Area 1 director for Zonta
Stacey Lentz, owner of the Academie Agencie representing models and actors in Fargo, is serving as Area 1 director of Zonta International, a global organization of executives and professionals working to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy.
Area 1 consists of Zonta clubs in Aberdeen, S.D., and Fargo, Bismarck, Wahpeton and Jamestown, all in North Dakota.
Lentz is a licensed teacher in North Dakota, and her expertise is in etiquette instruction.
Chamber announces new board of directors
The Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber has named its 2013-14 board of directors. They are:
Bernie Dardis, CEO of Indigo Signworks, chairman; Doug Rest-emayer, president of D-S Beverages, chairman-elect; Jon Riewer, president of Eventide Senior Living Communities, treasurer; and Wayne Bradley, president and owner of Bradley Business Advisers, immediate past chairman.
Other executive committee members are Doug Vang, Essentia Health,
and the new board member is Judd Graham, market president of Wells Fargo Bank.
Returning board members are: Tom Astrup, American Crystal Sugar Co.; Renee Bourdeaux, North Dakota State University; Chuck Driscoll, Red River Refrigeration; Don Gronke, State Farm; Katie Hasbargen, Microsoft; Norm Leslie, National Hospitality Services; Kathy Lewin, Forum Communications Printing; Paul Richard, Sanford Health; Edna Szymanski, Minnesota State University Moorhead; and Paul von Ebers, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota.
Spectrum Aeromed listed on INC 5000
Spectrum Aeromed, Fargo, has been listed on the INC 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list for the third consecutive year.
The company designs and manufactures custom air medical and air ambulance equipment for fixed and rotor wing aircraft.
Spectrum Aeromed moved up on the list this year with three-year revenue growth of 213 percent and is ranked No. 1 in the top 100 in the state of North Dakota and No. 44 in the top 100 of manufacturing companies.
Serkland lawyers make Super Lawyers list
Six lawyers with the Serkland Law Firm in Fargo were selected for inclusion in the 2013 Great Plains Super Lawyers lists, which recognize attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their legal practice.
Those named to list and their primary practice areas are: Jack Marcil, alternative dispute resolution; Ronald McLean, general litigation; Roger Minch, bankruptcy; Maureen Holman, family law; and Joseph Wetch, general litigation. Marcil was also selected to the 2013 Top 5 North Dakota Super Lawyers list.
Peter Zuger was named to the 2013 Great Plains Rising Stars list in the primary practice area of general litigation.
Attorney recognized in practice of labor law
Sarah Andrews Herman of the Dorsey & Whitney law firm, Fargo, has been named to the 2013 Great Plains Super Lawyers list in the area of employment and labor law.
She has practiced in the Fargo area since 1977.
NDANG detachment earns superior award
Soldiers with the North Dakota Army National Guard’s Medical Detachment have received the Army Superior Unit Award for outstanding meritorious service.
The award was presented to the soldiers to recognize their work from 2009 to 2010 when they planned, coordinated and implemented a detailed and efficient process of annual physical exams, periodic health assessments and dental exam missions that have earned the North Dakota Army National Guard a top 5 percent ranking in the nation for medical readiness.
IAAP chapter members earn excellence awards
Kristi Rotvold, Barbara Lee and Sherri Finke, members of the Red River Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals, have received the Member of Excellence award for 2012-13. This is the fifth time each has been named a member of excellence.
Other members receiving the award were Margo Rolczynski, Darla Bakko, Aimee Thapa and Sheila Watson.
The Red River chapter also received the Chapter of Excellence Award for the fourth year.
Magazine recognizes Fargo software firm
Atlas Business Solutions, Fargo, has been included in Software Magazine’s Software 500 ranking of the world’s largest software and service providers, now in its 31st year.
This is the sixth time Atlas Business Solutions has appeared in the top 500 ranking in the last 10 years.
TNT Kids Fitness adds Ambuehl to board
Annette Ambuehl has joined the board of directors of TNT Kid’s Fitness in Fargo.
Ambuehl is a sales manager with BW Insurance, Fargo.
