Moorhead traffic stop results in drug, counterfeiting arrests

MOORHEAD – A traffic stop conducted Tuesday as part of an ongoing drug investigation resulted in the arrest of two people.

According to a report released by Moorhead Police:

Deandrae Devon Poe, 23, and Phillip Neal Jones, 25, both of Minneapolis, were taken into custody and are being held in the Clay County Jail.

Poe is being held on felony charges of third-degree controlled substance possession.

Jones is being held on gross misdemeanor possession of counterfeit currency charges.

During the arrest, police seized crack cocaine and $100 worth of counterfeit bills.

Police said anyone who believes they have received counterfeit bills are asked to contact law enforcement.
