Arthur woman arrested after truck knocks over Fargo power pole
The crash at about 5:30 a.m. involved a man and a woman who were arguing in a pickup truck.
According to Fargo police Lt. Joel Vettel:
The incident began at a bar in Moorhead where two women were injured.
A male friend took the women to a local hospital. After the women were released from the hospital, the friend again gave them a ride in his pickup truck.
An argument began in the truck and turned physical. The driver pulled over and the male and female involved in the dispute got out of the truck.
The woman then jumped back in the truck and drove off, striking and knocking over a power pole in the process. The woman fled but police say they caught her a short distance away and arrested her.
Vettel identified the woman as Brittany Marie Lentsch, 22, of Arthur, N.D.
Vettel said Lentsch was arrested on suspicion of DUI and she was cited for driving after suspension, reckless driving, and failure to get information or render aid at an accident.
