2 Valley City residents face meth charges after traffic stop in Fargo

FARGO – Two people arrested by Fargo police early Monday face a number of drug-related charges, Fargo Police Lt. Joel Vettel said.

According to Vettel:

Orlin W. Perdue, III, 39, and Christol Rose, 37, both of Valley City, were arrested about 3 a.m. after a traffic stop in the 4400 block of 19th Avenue South.

More than 100 grams of methamphetamine were seized in the arrest, Vettel said.

Perdue and Rose face several drug-related charges in Cass County District Court, including possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute, he said.

Vettel said that while meth dealing may not be the problem it was 10 years ago, Fargo police still place a priority on such cases because of the other criminal activity it breeds, including crimes of violence.
