Letter: Fargo can do without a fancy new city hall

Our city leaders take a bus tour to look at new sites for Fargo’s city hall. Really, you are looking to move city hall out of downtown Fargo? On one side, you want people and businesses in downtown Fargo, but it may not be the place for you? You don’t need a new city hall; you may want one, but you don’t need one.

Use the buildings the school board wants to vacate because of logistics, even though they still bus most of the students. The city does not need all of its departments in the same building. Remodel the current city hall and move to other vacant buildings downtown. If North Dakota State University can do it, why can’t the city?
