Hires and promotions - 09/07/13BCBS ND hires director of marketing solutions
Paul Jelinek has joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota in Fargo as director of marketing solutions.
He was previously president of Insurance Coordinators of Montana, a subsidiary owned by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana. He has more than 20 years of experience working with Blues plans, having worked in sales operations, operations, product development, new business development, strategic and operational planning and channel management.
Jelinek, a native of Pomeroy, Wash., grew up in Spokane, Wash. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature at Whitworth College, Spokane.
Three added to staff at Fargo ShareHouse
ShareHouse, Fargo, has hired Sadie Olson and JoAnn Spiering as licensed addiction counselors, and Addy Bolgrean as a licensed social worker.
Olson earned a bachelor’s degree in social work with an emphasis in chemical dependency from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. She completed a social work internship and was an addiction counselor trainee at Drake Counseling Services and Northeast Human Service Center, Grand Forks. She most recently worked at the STEP Program for Women in Grand Forks.
Spiering earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with an emphasis in psychology from Minnesota State University Moorhead, and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from North Dakota State University. She completed the Fargo Addiction Clinical Training Program and most recently worked as a crisis mental health practitioner at Lakeland Mental Health Center, Moorhead.
Bolgrean earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from MSUM and completed a student internship at ShareHouse Robinson Recovery Center. She most recently worked at Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo.
Huber joins Essentia clinic in Jamestown
Physician assistant Amanda Huber has joined the family medicine department at Essentia Health’s clinic in Jamestown, N.D.
Huber earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Grand Forks. She previously worked as a physician assistant at clinics in Tennessee and Kentucky.
Bell State Bank hires 2, names branch manager
Bell State Bank & Trust has hired Thomas Geraghty as vice president/Bell Investments financial adviser at Bell Investments, a division of Bell State Bank & Trust, 2704 Broadway, Fargo.
Glen Deeton has been hired as a mortgage loan officer.
Jody Saum has been named branch manager at Bell State Bank & Trust’s location at 3100 13th Ave. S., Fargo.
Geraghty, originally from Moorhead, earned a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead. He has nearly 40 years of experience in the customer service industry, spending the past six years at Edward Jones.
Deeton, originally from Baker, Minn., earned a degree in business administration from MSUM. He was previously employed with Wells Fargo, first spending 11 years in personal banking and most recently as a home mortgage consultant for the past 12 years.
Saum will transfer from her role as branch manager at the downtown Fargo location. Originally from Canby, Minn., Saum has been with Bell State Bank & Trust for 32 years.
Barclay hired as director of solutions delivery
Albert Barclay has been hired as director of solutions delivery at Noridian Mutual Insurance Co., Fargo.
Barclay, a native of Princeton, N.J., earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
He previously worked for Minneapolis-based Optum, a division of UnitedHealthcare, as senior director for solutions and business analysis.
DFC Consultants hires administrative assistant
Lisa Gartner has joined DFC Consultants Ltd., Fargo, as the administrative assistant.
She has three years of experience working in an office setting and previously worked at Fishnet Marketing and International Marketing Systems.
Gartner, originally from Utah, attended Snow College in Utah and moved to Fargo in 2010.
Three join Hospice of the Red River Valley
Hospice of the Red River Valley, Fargo, has named Jayme Feakes as a volunteer coordinator, Jane Bartholomay as major gifts officer and Kimberly Rud as a patient care manager.
Feakes was previously employed by FirstLink as a volunteer center specialist. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University.
Bartholomay most recently worked for the Sanford Health Foundation as major gifts officer.
Rud was previously guest services manager at Sanford Health. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Mary.
Keller Williams Roers hires Jason Ennen
Jason Ennen has joined the FM Team at Keller Williams Roers Realty Market Center, Fargo.
Ennen previously worked with the Schwan’s Food Co.
Therapy service adds staff, expands services
Megan Scilley and Valerie Glynn have joined Beyond Boundaries Therapy Services in Fargo as speech-language pathologists. Both earned master’s degrees in speech-language pathology at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Beyond Boundaries Therapy Services has also expanded to Casselton, N.D. Located in the Weber Insurance Agency building in Casselton, Kelsey Grommesh has been named lead speech-language pathologist there and will serve families in Casselton and surrounding communities.
St. Joseph’s names assistant principal
Andrew Hilliker has been promoted to assistant principal at St. Joseph’s School, Moorhead. He will also continue to serve as the middle school social studies teacher.
Hilliker is originally from Lisbon, N.D., and is pursuing a master’s degree in educational leadership from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Wagner, Lewis selected for speaking team
Kim Wagner and Teresa Lewis, both from Fargo, have been selected to be part of the national Fundamentally Female speaking team that will inspire and motivate audiences across the country as part of the Fundamentally Female Organization.
The organization was founded by Renee Rongen, an award-winning author, entrepreneur and international motivational speaker.
Wagner is a motivational and humorist presenter with messages focused on audiences made up of primarily women, those affected by cancer and
those interested in building community.
Lewis is a mindset coach, speaker and facilitator. She works with business professionals, leaders and owners to inspire them to live with intention and achieve better results. She is also the lead consultant with North Dakota State University for the new executive education program.
Others selected for the team are: Katie Dilse, Scranton, N.D.; Susan Hagen, Boston; and Michele Wood, Indianapolis.
The Village hires Lindstrom, Boerger
Amanda Lindstrom has joined The Village Family Service Center as an intensive in-home family based therapist in the Moorhead office.
Jenna Boerger has been hired as a financial counselor and educator at The Village Financial Resource Center, Fargo.
Lindstrom earned a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Minnesota, St. Paul. She specializes in children, families, parenting, relationships and communication. She previously worked at Clay County Social Services for more than eight years.
Boerger earned a bachelor’s degree in international business and Spanish from Concordia College, and a master’s degree in business administration from North Dakota State University.

Kressin hired as national talent adviser
TMI Hospitality, Fargo, has hired Nicole Kressin as national talent adviser.
Kressin earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.
She previously was a recruiter for Ulteig and was a human relations counselor for Southeast Human Service Center, both in Fargo.
Goose River Bank hires Dockter as credit analyst
Goose River Bank, Mayville, N.D. has hired Kevin Dockter as a credit analyst.
Dockter has seven years of experience in the analytical field and five years of experience in the banking industry. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from North Dakota State University.
American Crystal adds to packaging staff
Jeremy Lium, Alicia Rauzi, Channing Sandberg, Phil Sapa, Eric Scott and Crystal Vesper have joined American Crystal Sugar Co. as assistant packaging and warehouse supervisors.
Rauzi will work out of the company’s Hillsboro, N.D., facility. She has more than seven years of management experience, with two years in packaging.
Lium and Vesper have joined the team in the Crookston, Minn., facility. Lium has more than 15 years of industry experience. Vesper has three years of food industry experience.
Sandberg and Scott will work at the East Grand Forks, Minn., facility. Sandberg joined American Crystal in 2011 and has more than three years of industry experience. Scott joined the company in 2012 and has a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Montana State University.
Sapa will work out of the Drayton, N.D., facility. He joined American Crystal in 2012 and has more than 10 years of management experience.

Child, Family Therapy Associates adds staff
Child and Family Therapy Associates in Fargo has added psychology resident Kirsten Williams and social worker Julie Steiner to its staff.
Williams specializes in working with children, adolescents and adults with a history of trauma or abuse, anxiety and ADHD. She completed an internship at Prairie View near Wichita, Kans., and earned a doctoral degree in counseling psychology from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.
Steiner specializes in treating children, adolescents and adults with infertility/adoption-related issues, anxiety, depression, grief/loss and a history of trauma and abuse. She also works with couples and families.
She has 13 years of clinical experience and earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul.
