NDSU, Fargodome officials list tailgating guidelines for Saturday's Bison gameFARGO – North Dakota State University and Fargodome officials have set up parking guidelines for those planning to enjoy tailgating before Saturday’s Bison home opener against Ferris State.
Fargodome parking lots will open five hours before to kickoff and reserved parking lots will open 30 minutes before all other lots.
In the South G Lot parking spaces, a single car may purchase up to two spots. A vehicle pulling a trailer can buy up to four spots and larger vehicles can purchase double the spots of the size of the vehicle.
Fargodome parking attendants have the final authority to determine the appropriate number of spaces for vehicles, but eight spaces is the maximum amount allowed.
Tailgating is permitted in lots B and C, although alcohol consumption in any other parking lots other than E/F/G is prohibited. Violators will be ticketed.
No tailgating is allowed on public roads.
Tailgaters must stay with their vehicles while they are in line on the road. Unattended vehicles are subject to tow.
Groups that plan to tailgate together must arrive together. Attempts to save spots with lawn chairs or any other equipment are not allowed.
For those who plan to tailgate with others but are arriving in a single vehicle, tailgaters should park in parking lots B or C or another off- site parking lot and walk to Lot G.
Vehicles may only enter lots E, F and G for tailgating the day of the event. Any vehicles left overnight from the day before will be subject to tow at owner’s expense.
