Bond reduced again for oil field murder suspect
WILLISTON, N.D. — Bond has been reduced again for a Michigan man accused of stabbing his friend to death in an alcohol-fueled dispute at an oil field crew camp in western North Dakota.
Ryan Anderson is charged with murder in the March death of Christopher King at a crew camp between Ray and Tioga.
Judge David Nelson on Thursday reduced Anderson's bond from $500,000 to $50,000. The bond earlier had been cut from the initial $1 million. Anderson must follow several rules if he is released.
The Williston Herald reported (http://bit.ly/18I9LUJ ) that Anderson was still in jail as of Friday morning. He is scheduled for trial next February.
