Fargo seeks public input on Second Street floodwall projectsFARGO – City leaders here say they want public input on proposed floodwall projects for Second Street near downtown.
Four options are up for public review online, with a price tag from $21.8 million for a plan that would remove Second Street entirely to a $44.1 million “tunnel” option.
Maps of the proposed options and an online comment form should be available at www.cityoffargo.com/2ndStreetFloodProtection. City staff members say the website is expected to be ready by today.
Those interested in submitting a paper copy may visit the Engineering Office at 200 3rd St. N. or contact the Engineering Office via phone or email at 241-1545 or email@example.com.
The comment period will close Sept. 23. The City Commission is expected to discuss the project again in about a month.
