NDSU Women’s Club to award scholarshipsFARGO – The North Dakota State University Women’s Club will kick off its 93rd year with a fall event Monday.
Dr. Mary Aaland, pediatric trauma surgeon at Sanford Health in Fargo, will be the keynote speaker, and three female NDSU students will be awarded $1,000 scholarships at the event
The gathering begins at 6 p.m. Monday at the Courtyard by Marriott Convention Center in south Moorhead.
Reservations, including a $5 per person fee, must be received by today. Mail to NDSU Women’s Club, PO Box 1404, Fargo, ND 58103-1404.
Membership in the NDSU Women’s Club is open to any woman who supports the mission of the university. The annual membership fee is $20 or $10 for students. Half of the fee is used for scholarships.
The club hosts three seasonal events as well as interest groups that meet throughout the month as well as community and club service opportunities.
