North Dakota dove hunting season to open SundayBISMARCK — The North Dakota dove season opens Sunday.
The state Game and Fish Department has set limits at 15 per day, with a possession limit of 45. Shooting hours are 30 minutes before sunrise to sunset.
All hunters must have a fishing, hunting and furbearer certificate and a general game and habitat license, regardless of age. Hunters 16 and older need a small game license.
All residents are required to register with the Harvest Information Program prior to hunting.
The season runs through Oct. 30.
