Atchison acquires Midwest Fire EquipmentMidwest Fire Equipment and Repair Co., Luverne, Minn., owned by Scott and Pam Schneekloth, has been sold to a family investor group led by Sarah Atchison.
Atchison, along with family members Lyle and Jane Gessell, purchased Midwest Fire Equipment because it aligns with their mission to work with small, Midwestern manufacturing operations developing products that help save lives.
Sarah Atchison has experience with Spectrum Aeromed, Fargo, whose mission is to save lives with its air medical equipment. Spectrum Aeromed is owned and operated by Dean Atchison, who served as a consultant for his wife, Sarah, on the acquisition of Midwest Fire Equipment.
The company will continue operations at its manufacturing facility in Luverne and the new owners have retained all employees.
