Senior spotlight: Tyler Gimmestad, offensive lineman

Q: What is your favorite sports movie?

A: I’d have to go with “Friday Night Lights” or “The Program.” … It’s kind of about the college life in “The Program.” And “Friday Night Lights,” it just brings you back to your high school days.

What is your favorite television show?

Right now it would have to be “Sons of Anarchy” or “Breaking Bad.” They’re both thrilling shows, and there’s a lot of drama and twists.

What is your favorite social media platform?

Definitely Twitter. I will follow athletes. Just get to know and see what they are doing all the time.

What was your favorite cartoon character as a kid?

I’d have to go with Bugs Bunny. I watched a lot of cartoons when I was little. He was always on, on Saturday morning.

If you could pick two musical acts for a dream concert, who would they be?

One would probably be Goo Goo Dolls. I like just how they play. They are kind of an older band. … Second one would probably be The Used.

What is your favorite jersey color to wear?

I would have to go with the white ones. They just fit better than all the other ones on me. But now we’re getting new white ones, so we’ll have to see about that.

What is something most people would not know about you?

I probably have the best hands on the team.

What is the best Christmas or birthday gift you have ever received?

It would have to be my Xbox. I love spending time on it either playing “Madden” or “NBA (Live).”

If there was a movie made about your life, what actor would you want to play you?

I’d probably have to go with Zach Galifianakis. Some people say I look like

him, so probably definitely him.
