History group to host German Culture DayMOORHEAD – The Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County will sponsor a German Culture Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Hjemkomst Center.
The free event will celebrate German cultural heritage through music and dance, children’s activities and traditional crafts. Authentic German food and select German beers will also be available.
Later that evening at 6 p.m., the group will sponsor a German Rhineland dinner as a fundraiser for the museum. The four-course meal will celebrate the food, wine and beer of the Rhineland region of Germany.
Tickets are $50 and available through Sept. 21. Beer and wine are sold separately.
