Driver killed when truck rolls over himKILLDEER, N.D. – A 28-year-old was killed Saturday afternoon when the truck he was operating in North Dakota’s oilfields rolled over him, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said.
The incident happened at about 2:50 p.m. on a service road of Highway 22, about 25 miles north of Killdeer.
According to the Highway Patrol:
Russell Allen Lockwood, Brentwood, Calif., was driving from a fracking site when he stopped and exited the truck for unknown reasons.
While he was outside the vehicle, the truck rolled forward and struck Lockwood, rolling over him.
He died at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
