Tickets300 signs agreement with Scheels Arena

FARGO – Tickets300 and Scheels Arena signed a five-year deal to make the Fargo company the exclusive ticketing source for events at the south Fargo venue.

Tickets300 now handles tickets for all Fargo Force games, with the first home game of the hockey season on Sept. 20. The company will take over ticketing for all other events on Oct. 4.

Tickets300 is owned by Jade Nielsen, whose company Jade Presents puts on shows at area venues, including a concert with hip-hop artist Nelly at Scheels Arena in 2011. A concert by Megadeth scheduled for Scheels earlier this month was canceled.

Nielsen said the deal does not give him exclusive booking rights for Scheels Arena. The venue has booked Florida Georgia Line for an Oct. 5 show and touring industry website pollstar.com also lists a Nov. 23 show with country singers Justin Moore, Randy Houser and Josh Thompson and Dec. 5 show with Christian artists Michael W. Smith and Third Day.

Jade Presents does have exclusive booking agreements with The Hub and the Fargo Theatre.

In addition to tickets still being available at Scheels Arena, fans can purchase tickets and season passes at the Ticket300 kiosk at 300 Broadway between noon and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, through tickets300.com or by calling (866) 300-8300.
