Letter: Pedestrian safety must be a priorityIn many, if not most, other parts of the world I have visited, bicycles seem to be routinely equipped with warning bells. And riders really use them when approaching pedestrians from behind.
On a recent morning walk on the bike path adjacent to 20th Street South in Moorhead, I was nearly hit twice by bike riders.
Shouldn’t a public campaign be started to increase awareness of a very, very simple pedestrian safety opportunity?
