Weather Talk: Later start to school in ND makes sense weather-wise

There seems to be a national trend of starting the school year earlier and earlier. In North Dakota, there has been some pressure recently to force public schools to begin the school year after Labor Day. The state of Minnesota has such a law. If weather is the primary consideration, this really does make good sense.
