Neighbors: Lutefisk soup, anyone?
Then again, maybe not.
It’s something that has been making the rounds on the Internet. It was forwarded to Neighbors by Bob Brown, Canton, Conn., who says it was sent to him by his “good Norwegian friend Marv Hage,” also of Canton, a native of Thief River Falls, Minn., and like Bob, a graduate of North Dakota State University.
Marv, in sending this to Bob, told him, “Send it off to all your Fargo friends and The Forum.
“I bet the next thing,” Marv bets, “is ‘buttered lefse in a can with sugar.’ Yes sireee Bob, it’s coming! It will be a fantastic success – worldwide! I will be applying for the patent on this delicious canned goodie. You betcha!”
Marv and Bob, that will go great with cream of lutefisk soup. If they both get past the hazardous material guys, that is.
