Fargo woman reports break-in, finds intruder in her bed
Documents filed in a Class C felony criminal trespassing case against Hans Lester Grafstrom, 23, of Fargo, state that Fargo police officer Tyler Nord responded to a disturbance call on the 1000 block of Fourth Avenue South about 3:32 a.m.
The police report states the caller told dispatch she could hear a sound like glass breaking. As the officer approached her home, he couldn’t see anyone.
That was when the woman told dispatch she found the suspect, later identified as Grafstrom, had crawled into her bed and was under the sheets.
Grafstrom allegedly told Nord he thought he was at his house, which is directly across the street.
Grafstrom also said he had been drinking earlier at some bars in downtown Fargo and did not remember breaking into anyone’s house.
The woman showed police the window Grafstrom came in through, which had the screen pulled out.
Grafstrom was arrested for burglary and booked into the Cass County Jail. His bail was set at $500.
