UND named factory training center for Draganfly
GRAND FORKS — The University of North Dakota has been approved as a factory training center for a company that makes unmanned aircraft systems.
The designation from Draganfly Innovations Inc. means that UND will be able to supplement its drone simulator training with hands-on flight training.
UND is the only Draganfly factory training center in the world. The school recently conducted a two-day Draganfly operator course to four Illinois state troopers.
Draganfly Innovations, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, produces a variety of small drones and other remotely operated vehicles.
