Hornbacher’s promotes Weisgram, Richman

Hornbacher’s has promoted Jenn Weisgram to district manager and Brenda Richman has been named human resources manager.

Weisgram has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Mary, Bismarck, and a bachelor’s degree from Luther College, Decorah, Iowa. She has been with Hornbacher’s since 2003.

Richman earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Mary and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Northwestern College, St. Paul. She began her career with Hornbacher’s in 2006.

Lillestol Research hires Engelstad, Dahl

Lillestol Research in Fargo has hired Jeremy Engelstad as a recruiter and study coordinator and Tim Dahl as a clinical research coordinator.

Engelstad has a bachelor’s degree in environmental and natural resource management from the University of Minnesota, Crookston, and more than eight years of clinical research experience.

Dahl has more than eight years of clinical research experience and has been a certified clinical research coordinator for the past seven years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education with an emphasis in exercise sports science from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a master’s degree in exercise physiology at The College of St. Scholastica.

Dietz joins AAA in Fargo as life specialist

Joe Dietz has joined AAA North Dakota as a life specialist in the club’s branch office at 4950 13th Ave. S., Fargo.

Licensed to sell life and health insurance in North Dakota and Minnesota, Dietz has more than 18 years of experience in sales and business development.

He was previously employed by Bankers Life and Casualty.

Applied Engineering hires 3 in Fargo office

Applied Engineering, Fargo, has hired Carey Schneider as an administrative assistant, David Zach as a design engineer and Kelly Kannas as a system administrator.

Schneider attended Concordia College, where she received a bachelor’s degree in English education.

Zach earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at North Dakota State University.

Kannas graduated from Mount Marty College, Yankton, S.D., with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, and he also earned an associate degree in computer information systems from Lake Area Technical Institute, Watertown, S.D.

Five promoted at Widmer Roel, Fargo

Widmer Roel, Fargo, has promoted Terry Golling to senior tax manager and Krista Emineth to senior staff accountant in the tax department, DeAnn Wagenman and Craig Hashbarger to audit managers and Tyler Richter to senior staff accountant in the audit department.

Golling is originally from Harrisburg, Pa., and earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy at University of Maryland. She joined Widmer Roel in 2011 and has more than 15 years of experience.

Emineth is a native of Minneapolis and earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy at Minnesota State University Moorhead. She joined Widmer Roel in 2010 and has three years of experience.

Originally from West Fargo, Wagenman earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting at North Dakota State University. She joined Widmer Roel in 2008 and has more than five years of experience.

Hashbarger is a native of Hope, N.D., and he earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. He joined Widmer Roel in 2008 and has more than 10 years of experience.

Richter is originally from Moorhead earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy at NDSU. He joined Widmer Roel in 2010 and has three years of experience.

Six new physicians join Sanford clinics

Sanford Health, Fargo, has named six new physicians in Fargo. They in-clude:

Dr. Chris Cleveland, pediatrics, allergy and immunology, Dr. James Kappenman, obstetrics and gynecology, and Dr. Kristine Martens, family medicine, all at Sanford Southpointe Clinic; Dr. Saif Mashaqi, sleep medicine, and Dr. Brad Kohoutek, psychiatry, both at the Sanford Professional Building; and Dr. Navin Paul, gastroenterology, Broadway Clinic.

Keeran hired to sales position at Aevenia

Mike Keeran has been hired as a salesman at Aevenia, 3030 24th Ave. S., Moorhead.

Keeran has more than 20 years of experience in sales primarily at Pepsi. He is originally from Iowa, and he graduated from Upper Iowa University with a bachelor’s degree.

MSUM names Soleim to registrar position

Heather Soleim has accepted the position of registrar at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Soleim has been serving as interim registrar since November.

Before joining MSUM, she was the assistant registrar at North Dakota State University. She received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and a master’s degree in educational leadership from NDSU.

Carlson, Raum join Fredrikson & Byron

Attorneys Wayne Carlson and Michael Raum are joining the Fredrikson & Byron law firm in Fargo.

Carlson is already with the firm, and Raum will join on Sept. 12. Carlson has worked in Fargo for more than 20 years and Raum for more than five years.

Carlson was previously senior vice president and general counsel at an agricultural financial services company in Fargo, where he was principal legal adviser to the board of directors and chief executive officer.

Raum was previously the general counsel at an investment management firm in Fargo, with interests in ethanol processing, hotel development and management, and real estate. He also has worked as a trial attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division in Washington, D.C.

Nachatillo joins Fargo practice

Nichole Nachatillo will join the staff of Medical Weight Loss Specialists in Fargo in September.

She is a certified family nurse practitioner and will join other staff members that include Dr. Spencer Berry, and Melissa Crawford, nurse practitioner.

Three new employees join John Deere in Fargo

John Deere Electronic Solutions in Fargo has hired Sheila Okins as the equipment room operator and Nikita Vetter and Sandra Sowle as production specialists.

Gjesdahl law firm in Fargo hires Larson

Gjesdahl Law, Fargo, has hired Kimberlie Larson.

She graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with degrees in social work and criminal justice, and she graduated from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, St. Paul. She will work as the firm’s office manager and will represent clients in family-related matters.

TMI Hospitality hires database architect

TMI Hospitality, Fargo, has hired Rikki Lee as a database architect.

Lee earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from North Dakota State University. She has also worked as a software developer for Ulteig, Fargo.

Obermiller Nelson hires 4, expands Fargo office

Obermiller Nelson Engineering of Fargo hired Lori Christensen as a mechanical engineer, Jonathan Matter as controller, Travor Fredrickson as an electrical engineer-in-training and Mike Pickar as an electrical CADD technician.

Christensen has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from North Dakota State University and was recently with Design Tree Engineering. She will be working in the firm’s office in Alexandria, Minn.

Matter has a bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in finance from NDSU and was recently with Noridian Mutual Insurance as senior accountant.

Fredrickson has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and was recently with Ulteig, Fargo.

Pickar has a bachelor’s degree in operational management from Minnesota State University Moorhead and an associate’s degree in mechanical computer aided drafting and design detailing from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead. He most recently worked for Integrity Windows and Doors.

Along with new employees, Obermiller Nelson Engineering is in the process of expanding their Fargo office, adding more than 6,000 square feet to their existing building. The addition will include 22 new offices, three conferences rooms and a training room. The addition is scheduled to be completed around Oct. 1.

Two promoted at Doublewood Inn

The Doublewood Inn of Fargo has promoted Bernie Eckroth to vice president of operations for Gangl Hospitality, which owns the Doublewood, and Anthony Schutz has been named general manager of the Doublewood Inn, replacing Eckroth.

Eckroth is originally from Mandan, N.D., and he has worked in the hospitality industry for several years as a chef and general manager of Doublewood Inns in Bismarck and Fargo.

Schutz, a Fargo native, has been with the Doublewood for three years, moving from the front desk to several management positions, including assistant general manager.

Re/Max Legacy Realty hires realtor Davis

Shawana Davis has joined Re/Max Legacy Realty in Fargo as a licensed Realtor in North Dakota and Minnesota.

She has lived in the Fargo-Moorhead area for 13 years and has more than 20 years of sales and customer service experience.

Dabbert Custom Homes hires Behm as designer

Brent Behm has joined Dabbert Custom Homes, Fargo, as a designer/draftsman.

Behm received his bachelor’s degree in architecture from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in architecture from Rice University, Houston.

A native of Minot, N.D., he has more than 12 years of experience in commercial and residential project design and he is interested in sustainable architecture and furniture design.

Vanity’s corporate office in Fargo hires four

Vanity has hired Jazmin Shipley as a visual assistant, Kendra Lewellyn as a Web designer, Alexis Johnson as lead graphic designer and Katherine Miller as a graphic designer. All will be working in the company’s corporate marketing department in Fargo.

Shipley previously worked at Wet Seal, and she graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in human development and family science.

Lewellyn has web/graphic design experience from Hard Charge/Gutty Inc. and Forum Communications Co. She graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in graphic communications with emphasis in digital design and 3-D graphics.

Johnson previously worked for Vanity for four years and for Area Women Magazine and Essentia Health. She graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College with a degree in graphic design technology.

Miller previously worked in graphic design at Scheels. She graduated from California State Polytechnic University with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design.
