Namedroppers (Aug. 18)MAKING THE GRADE: Kyle Gronbeck, Moorhead, was named to the spring semester dean’s list at St. John’s University, Collegeville, Minn.
MSUM NEWS: Matthew Tinjum, son of Dave and Michelle Tinjum, Moorhead, has been awarded a $500 Freshman Music Scholarship. To be eligible, students must be a member of an ensemble and enroll in private lessons each semester.
JAMESTOWN COLLEGE NEWS: Hunter Gossett, son of Jon and Annie Gossett, Fargo, has been accepted to attend Jamestown (N.D.) College in the fall. He has been awarded an Honor Scholarship, Alumni Referral Award and Men’s Track and Field Award.
RECENT GRADUATES: Tim Roach, Fargo, has graduated with a doctor of pharmacy degree from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa.
STUDYING ABROAD: Maxwell Spaeth, a junior at the University of Minnesota and graduate of Fargo South High School, will spend the fall semester studying in Sao Paulo, Brazil, at Fundacao Getulio Vargas, a world renowned center for quality education dedicated to promoting Brazil’s economic and social development. Spaeth is the son of Barbara Spaeth-Baum and Sidney Spaeth and the stepson of Dean Baum, all of Fargo.
