West Fargo man accused of following woman, trying to drag her out of car
Kyle Landen Iverson, 25, was charged Tuesday with one count of terrorizing, a Class C felony, and one count of disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor.
Documents filed with the case state that Fargo police were called to 2550 15th St. S. on a report of a man who had jumped into a woman’s car there and was touching her, but was being restrained by the woman’s friends.
The woman told police she noticed a vehicle following her from the time she was driving on the 1300 block of South University Drive.
When she parked, the car, driven by Iverson, parked behind her. As she tried to lock her doors, Iverson pulled her front door open and grabbed her, trying to pull her out of the vehicle. She began to cry and shout for Iverson to get out.
Three of the woman’s friends were waiting outside for her and told police they saw Iverson follow her and try to drag her out of the car. The woman said she does not know Iverson.
Police questioned Iverson, but said he was too intoxicated to provide a reason for his actions.
Iverson was arrested and released from the Cass County Jail on $10,000 bond. His next court appearance is set for Sept. 11.
